We named it IKAPA, which is the Xhosa word for Cape Town. IKAPA  reminds us of long walks by the beach or sunset dinners at a romantic beach restaurant. IKAPA is part of our MAHALI collection, a collection that is dedicated to celebrating some of our founder’s favorite places in Africa. MAHALI means “Places” in Swahili.

We love the funky and edgy design which is very similar to the styles of a lot of Nairobian ladies. We named this dress NAIROBAE which is a term used by Kenyans to refer to the capital city Nairobi.
