Short, fitted, V-neck black velvet dress. The velvet fabric is a thick, non-stretch suiting fabric. The design of this dress features gorgeous gold buttons placed in a similar manner to a double-breasted blazer/coat. We love the funky and edgy design which is very similar to the styles of a lot of Nairobian ladies. We named this dress NAIROBAE which is a term used by Kenyans to refer to the capital city Nairobi. NAIROBAE reminds us of the vibrant night life in Nairobi. NAIROBAE is part of our MAHALI collection, a collection that is dedicated to celebrating some of our founder’s favorite places in Africa. MAHALI means “Places” in Swahili

Nous avons nommé cette robe JABER qui est un mot Dholuo qui fait référence à une personne d'une immense beauté et de qualités physiques exceptionnelles. Dholuo / Luo est une langue et une tribu kényanes. Le tissu utilisé pour cette robe est un tissu violet riche et extensible et nous adorons la façon dont il s'est drapé pour former cette belle pièce que notre modèle portait avec tant de grâce.
